“I'm really sorry that I acted like a child. I was really just afraid. I didn’t know what I felt. I just don’t want to lie and hurt Lia again,” Iyah said, sitting in front of Keith’s car, feeling nauseous. It was the most stupid excuse she had come up with.
“I said it’s fine, Iyah,” Keith directly said while looking ahead.
“Thanks for the ride.” Then Iyah bid goodbye.
After that night, Iyah was restless and bothered by what had happened. She still seems guilty of her reaction, but she just panicked.
