CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN

After Morrigan left the courtroom the king heaved a sigh of relief, his back slumped on his throne. Cold sweats trickled on his forehead. He patted those sweats away with the back of his hand. Glaring at the prince who is standing in the middle of the courtroom, dumbfounded. Mathias looked at the already shut double doors. He started to pace in the middle of the courtroom, walking from one side to another, going around in circles. The king who watches his son intently could feel his head aching as he watches his son pacing around. He pinched the middle of his nose bridge and massages it. Thinking of the stupid mistake Mathias did and how the prince had offended the future queen of their neighboring kingdom.

Mathias paced back and forth in the courtroom, unconsciously biting the skin on the tip of his thumb. When he could feel he could no longer bite his thumb he repeatedly licked his lips. His father, the king, massaging his temples. Heaving another deep sigh
