Lunaya.
“I think you’re being irrational” Alyse snapped at me. We had been going around in circles having the same argument all morning.
“I’m not being irrational, I'm trying to do the right thing” I groaned once again.
“How is that the right thing?” Alyse yelled. She was pacing back and forth in front of me as I sat on a fallen tree. After our talk with Gunner last night and the revelation about Zelena and her relationship with Selene, I agreed to keep my distance. Alyse however thinks I'm being stupid and that I'm just scared of her rejecting me in favour of Selene. I mean, she’s not wrong, but she isn’t totally right either. Gunner told me very little about her upbringing at the hands of that filthy hunter. I don’t know the details, but enough to know that her childhood was hell. She deserves this time, to bask in the newfound joyous relationship. Even if I am jealous, even if I wish it was me
Lunaya. My eyes fluttered open and I flew upright on the bed. I’m in a bedroom, not the tent, and I’m alone. I grabbed my neck but the wound was gone, completely healed over. Meaning I have been here for at least a few hours. I have been dressed in a large black t-shirt and a pair of grey sweatpants. I stood up and walked out of the bedroom door, I headed down a hallway and to a large staircase. At the bottom of the staircase was the foyer, the only part of this huge house that I recognised. I focused my hearing and heard a scurry of voices coming from a door on the left, Alyse’s voice was one of them. I pushed the door open, and all eyes turned to me. Beta Cole, Alyse, Elaine, Phoebe, Romeá, her Mate Lupus, the she-wolf Faylene and a warrior whose name I hadn’t learnt yet, all stood looking at me. “Hello” I said awkwardly, “Nae, you’re alright?” Alyse asked as she stepped forward and placed her small hands on my cheeks. I put my hands over hers and smiled,
Zelena.I stared at Alpha Galterio. He is quite handsome. Thick dark hair and large brown eyes, creamy tanned skin that stretched over his taunt muscles. He’s a big Were, a little intimidating as well, but I don’t know if that is because of his size or the power that he exudes. Freedom to all Were-kind. That’s what he said. How are we not already free? Is he talking about the scourge of the hunters? They are and always will be a threat to the Weres, but their numbers are unknown. How could we defeat them if we don’t know where they are, or how many of them are out there. He stood watching me as I tried to understand the message behind his statement. I don’t want to like him, he is cocky and arrogant, but there is something else there. Something that seems genuine, maybe. I really don’t know about this. I don’t want to trust him, but my damn stomach, it is reaching out for him.“What does that mean?” I asked him caut
Zelena. For the first time ever, I am afraid of Gunner. “Please” I cried, continuing to wiggle around. He didn’t answer me, just watched me cry and thrash in his deathly grip. This wasn’t my Gunner. My Gunner was loving, and caring, and gentle. Whoever this Were is, he’s rough and callous, and downright terrifying. His anger dance through my veins, trying to seduce me to the darkness, but I fought against it. The growl that rumbled through his chest was enough to put a stop to my thrashing. I looked up to his dark and dangerous eyes. Tears blurred my vision, but the rage on his face was clear. “Gunner, stop it, please” I pleaded. But it was no use. There was no getting through to him, not like this. Tobias is too far away to flash for help, and Gunner is the only other person I have flashed with. I don’t know what to do, I can’t use my powers on him. Not again. Not after the last time. I looked over Gunner’s shoulder and saw Smith and Nat standing together fu
Zelena. My stomach was in knots and I felt weak and nauseous. I ached all over. I groaned and rolled over on the bed, reaching for Gunner. I pressed my face into his chest and inhaled. I quickly flew upright and stared at the person I was just cuddling into. Galterio smirked back at me.“I prefer to be the big spoon” he mused with a cheeky twitch of his lip. He sat on the bed with his back leaning against the headboard and his hands behind his head, his legs were laid out along the bed with his ankles crossed. I quickly looked down at myself and saw that I was now draped in a baggy white t-shirt. I flicked my eyes over the room we were in, confirming that we are alone in here.“Where am I?” I snapped back at Galterio,“Is that the welcome I get after rescuing you?” he teased, still smirking.I closed my eyes and pinched the bridge of my nose, hoping to ward off my headache. What the fuck happened? Gunner was angr
Zelena.“Where are you going? Can I come with you?” I asked Galterio, trying to make my voice as sweet and innocent as possible. But in truth, I just needed to find a way out of here and back to Tri-Moon. Galterio looked me over for a minute, studying my face closely.“Will you behave?” he asked with a smirk. That smirk is really starting to get on my nerves.“What exactly does ‘behaving’ entail?” I asked as I crossed my arms over my chest.“You don’t hurt anyone. You listen with an open mind when I talk to you about the cause. And most importantly, you don’t run” he said back, mimicking my stance with his arms crossed.“Don’t run? So I am a prisoner?” I sneered,“No Beauty, you are a guest. A very important and protected guest. It will be hard to protect you if you are running from me and my guards” he mused with a teasing grin.&ldq
Lunaya. “WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE ATTACKED HER?!” I bellowed. My furious voice echoed around the entire pack land. I’m sure every Were in the vicinity heard me. Elaine jumped forward and wrapped her massive arms around my upper body. I suppose she assumed I was going to attack. She wasn’t wrong. I wanted to kill the Were Smith, I don’t care that he is just the messenger. I really wish that I could shoot lasers from my eyes in this moment. I glared at my daughter’s Mate’s limp body. I wanted blood for what he did to her. I looked behind where Smith and Cole were holding the unconscious Gunner, waiting for Zelena to exit the car. But she wasn’t there. Roe was crying hysterically while running her hands over Gunner’s face, and Lupus was pacing back and forth, swearing to himself. Phoebe stood close to Elaine and I, ready to help Elaine restrain me. Alyse was cautiously moving closer to where the boys were holding Gunner, taking slow steps as to not make it too obvious. And Zelena wa
Lunaya. “You fucking traitor!” Gunner screamed at the top of his lungs while glaring at Cole. Where did that come from? “Gunner!” Lupus bellowed. Gunner snapped his head to his father and his face fell. A look of confusion and hurt came over him and he stopped shaking the bars. “Dad?” Gunner said softly, “What did you do, son?” Lupus asked him firmly, “I... I didn’t do anything. What’s happening? You're with Cole?” Gunner mumbled, moving his eyes from his father to Cole and back again. “Gunner, what do you remember?” Cole asked stepping closer to the cell door. Gunner growled and threw his arms through the gap in the bars and tried to swipe at Cole. When he missed, he grabbed the vertical bars and shook the door with all his might. “Don’t you fucking speak to me you filthy fucking traitor! I'll kill you for this you bastard” Gunner roared. I am completely lost now. What is it that Cole has done? Either way my patience was start
Zelena.Zoe. Gunner’s first time, his only other time. Why the heck is she still around? After being banished, she was meant to leave. She should be far away from Tri-Moon by now, Gunner can, and will kill her if he catches her near his land. Wait, Zoe is a Were, I've seen her change before, she did it right in front of me. Why then did she struggle so much this time around? Also, what the fuck is she doing with Galterio’s pack?!Galterio was talking quietly to Zoe, quiet enough that I couldn’t pick up what they were saying. I strained my hearing to try make out the words, but I could only hear parts of it. The words ‘failed me’ and ‘useless’ and ‘no longer needed’ stood out above the rest. I remember Zoe being kind of pretty, big boobs, nice hair and a face full of makeup. But this Zoe was wretched. Skin and bones with a feral look in her eye. I watched her closely as she talked with Galterio. Her mouth twitched a
