Lisa walked out of the company like she'd just won the lottery. Her face was flushed red, and she couldn't believe Ricardo had walked all the way down from his floor to hers just to kiss her.
She smiled as she remembered him telling her to look at him as she waved down a taxi and bit her bottom lip."I suppose everything went well today." Summer teased as she noticed an obviously overjoyed Lisa who had just entered the house."Yeah." Lisa replied and smiled at her."Does it have anything to do with your Mr. Ceo?" Summer asked, suspiciously."Yeah," Lisa replied, slumping down on the couch. "Yes, it does.""What happened?" Summer asked, expressing her enthusiasm."Ahhhh." Lisa's apartment doorbell rang about 45 minutes later.Summer got to her feet and shouted, "I'm coming!" as she made her way to the door.She opened the door without checking the visitor through the peephole and received the shock of her life.Her eyes widened in fear and amazement as she looked at the extremely handsome man standing in front of her with glacy blue eyes."How may I help you?" Looking down, she asked."My name is Ricardo; where is she?"Summer, dumbfounded, pointed to Lisa's bedroom door and watched as Ricardo walked past her and into the room.He knocked once, and without waiting for an invitation, he pressed the doorknob and entered the room."Lisa?" He called out worriedly, shut the door, and walked over to her bed. "What is the matter with you?"Lisa wiped away her tears and turned to face Ricardo. His eyes were not cold, but rather filled with concern."I'm sorry, my friend lied. There is nothing wrong with me."

Ricardo parked his car in the hospital parking lot three hours later and tilted his head in Lisa's direction."I'll be waiting for you here. Take your time.""I appreciate it." Lisa said as she stepped out of the car and shut the door. She began walking towards the hospital entrance but abruptly came to a halt, turned around, and waved at Ricardo, who was sitting inside the car, before continuing on her way.She paused for a few moments before opening the door to her father's hospital room, sighed heavily, and slowly opened the door.Her mother tilted her head in the direction of the door, thinking it was one of the nurses, but when she saw who was there, her mouth dropped open and she got out of the chair in shock."Lisa?" Lisa began reading the paper, and when her eyes caught a sentence, she looked up from the paper and looked at him, bewildered."I will be staying in your house the entire time?"
