Chapter Forty six ~ confessions

“What?” He asks me confusion laced in his voice.

“The day I was leaving, I called you Liam. Victoria picked up and told me you were tired after a wild night. So I’ll ask again, did you cheat on me?” I ask with my heart beating so fast I feel like it will pop out of my throat.

“Walk with me.” He says as he stretches out his hand but I don’t take it. I walk ahead of him.

“This direction baby.” He says and my cheeks flush from the realization that I just went the wrong direction. I meet his gaze as we enter the elevator and after a long pause of silence, it opens, and in front of me is the rooftop overlooking the city.
