“Dad...” Nina murmured, her voice barely audible, but Aran could hear her.

“That's a picture of Dad twenty-five years ago. Maybe you weren't born then, Alice. But Dad said he was married to your mother.” Aran explained about the photo Nina was holding. Nina was speechless, the young woman sobbing.

“I'm your elder brother, Alice, from a different mother, but our fathers are the same,” Aran explained with a smile.
