Chapter 58. Airport Meetings

"Laura..." Nina called Laura again, who answered while wriggling lazily.

"Hmmh, what's wrong, Nin? It's still early, right?"

"What's early? Look at the desk clock on the nightstand next to you," Nina said, pointing to one of the nightstands on the side where Laura was lying.

"Ooh, Nina. You set the alarm on this side, too; it sounds near my head." Laura grumbled with a frown.

"Who set it on?" she argued, "I set it off, and usually only the one over here goes on, but why are they both ringing now?"

There were two beautiful nightstands to the right and left of Nina's bed, each with a unique desk clock. But Nina usually only set the alarm on one side.

"Huh, Nina, did you really not set it?" asked Laura, confused. Nina shook her head, "then who?" Laura urged. Nina just shrugged.

"Oh, Nina, that's weird. Maybe..." Laura cast her eyes around the room, "ghosts." The girl immediately got back into the blanket, this time covering her entire body.
