Amara's POV

I ascended the stairs, feeling Samara's deadly gaze on me. Darlington looked at me in shock, seeing me wearing his shirt and shorts. I was in my husband's family house, so why couldn't I use his properties?

"Excuse me! Big brother, Is that not your shirt this lunatic is wearing?" Samara shouted. She stood up from the dining table, and just before Darlington could reply to her, Mr. Joshua Briggs stepped out from upstairs and inquired of Samara, "Who are you referring to as a lunatic in this house, Samara? I see you haven't learned your place. Get ready, Eric will be coming this weekend to finalize the wedding arrangements."

"No, father. You cannot marry me off like Darlington. I won't accept any suitor from you."
