Chapter 6

Once again, she was glancing out the window when he returned his gaze to her direction. He hadn't intended to be confrontational with her, but she needed to be taught something.

Brandon decided to speak after a few minutes of deafening quiet.

"Okay, because you're not going to say anything, I'm going to say what I have to say anyhow. I'm sorry for what occurred back at my place. I'm sorry for what happened back there. I got a little carried away. And if I've done you any harm, please accept my sincere apologies."

"Do you want me?" she said, turning to face him in anticipation of his response.

That wasn't one of the things he was anticipating her to say, and it certainly wasn't the one. His response was a complete and total blank. If he responded affirmatively, she would be encouraged. He would appear to be a liar, though, if he answered no after tonight's brief demonstration. He made the decision to be brutally honest.
