Olivia felt her whole world spin as the doctor dropped the news of Lucy's wellbeing. She almost lost balance but Maynard caught her.

Mrs Townsend, who had now understood everything but still clueless about what led to the miscarriage, gasp in shock.

Almost immediately, Lucy was wheeled out of the operating room by the nurses as they made into a different ward, few distance away.

A nurse walked up to the doctor and gave him a bag.

"Who is the father of the child?" He asked, staring around but his hard gaze fell directly at Mark, though he kept waiting for an answer and as if to prove his guess, all glared turned towards Mark.

"I believe you are the father!..." He said and stretched the bag towards him. " Here's the remains of your child, it's only right if you bury your child yourself.. "
