79 : Trauma

THE FOLLOWING MORNING

Maynard walked into the ward to find Olivia still sitter in the same position as he left her the previous day. Her eyes were red and plumpy from crying non-stop.

He stopped right beside her and pulled her up. Cupping her cheeks, he stared directly into her eyes and sighed deeply.

"You didn't get a wink of sleep do you?" He asked softly.

"How could I? when she's still not awake and has no clue what happened to her child. You know, I keep wondering if I should let her know about it or just tell a white lie that the baby is safe and sound. I kept trying to picture how perturbed she would be. It's the saddest news to any expectant mother.."

" If only we could tell a white lie to save the situation but sooner or later, she'd find out about it and get mad at you!. I advice you tell her the truth, it's for the best!!"

Olivia sighed and turned, looking back at her sister.

"I should get you something to eat!!" Maynard said in form of a question.
