Shirley blinked her mischievous and innocent eyes and asked, "What about it?"

"Even though my marriage didn't end well, I hope you won't be discouraged by it. If you meet someone worth it, don't give up," Cynthia replied, afraid that Shirley would lose hope in marriage.

"Don't worry," Shirley reassured her.

The two sisters chatted lovingly.

Mr. Yates watched the scene and felt a surge of happiness. He was willing to pay any price as long as his two daughters were well.

"I need to talk to Chairman Yates about something. We'll talk more when you're feeling better," Cynthia said in front of Mr. Yates, still addressing him coldly.

Shirley readily agreed.
