Chapter 54 Meeting Accident

Judy regretted it; she shouldn't have stuck around and pried.

Previously, when Lewis asked her if she had been to the Holiday Hotel, and now she had inadvertently revealed that she had.

Judy was unsure how to respond.

Lewis's gaze was coldly fixed on her. He hadn't said a word, but it sent chills down her spine.

Mustering up courage, Judy forced a sheepish laugh and said, "I have been there. I only stayed for a while that day and didn't get very familiar."

As she spoke, Judy said to Jane, "Jane, please give me the address anyway. I'm afraid I won't be able to find it."

"Sure," Jane, oblivious to the tension, replied, "Sir, then I'll go out and get busy."

"Sir, I'm going to go out, too..." Judy also wanted to escape.

Lewis's tone was chilly, "Judy, stay."

Judy's heart raced with guilt, forcing her to stand silently in her spot.

Jane had left, and now only Lewis and Judy were in the office.

Even though the air conditioning was set to 25°C, Judy felt as cold as if it were several degrees
