CHAPTER 21

"Who said that I will marry her?" Eloisa was angry, her chest almost burst with the anger she felt after hearing the news announced by her father.

Jayson just arrived to be introduced by his dad to his mom. Jayson's parents weren't there yet so he was sent first so that he could face Eloisa's parents first.

"Eloisa," shouted Mr. Scotch

"You should have at least some consideration and respect for your mom, and me. That's not the behavior we often remind you and teach you, and that's not the kind of child we raised you to be." Her father spoke highly. "When did you learn to be rude to us, especially in front of other people?"

Eloisa didn't move.

Suddenly her tongue disappeared and retreated, unable to even open her mouth, unable to speak.

"Sit down, Jayson," Mr. Scotch's voice was soft and calming as he invited Jayson to sit down. "Eloisa sit down too."
