35. When wrong seems right

Kathrine's POV

Heady feelings bloomed throughout my body as I connected my mouth with his. He was motionless under me, totally surprised. He didn't breathe as I pressed my trembling but eager lips on his rough ones.

He tasted of whiskey and smoke. I held his face tightly with my fingers and opened my mouth to use my tongue. Something crazy had gotten into me— or else I wouldn't have the guts to kiss my kidnapper— that shocked me too. But whatever it was was worth appreciation for I reveled in the feeling of his lips on mine.

His lips were chapped and warm against mine. I trailed my tongue on his bottom lip as I looked straight into his eyes. He was glaring at me. Hurling daggers of fury, indicating he didn't appreciate this. But who cares? I loved this. I loved laying on his naked chest and being able to assault him like this. That's if I could call it that.
