Chapter Twenty Seven
I was up bright and early the next day which wasn’t like me at all but the nightmares I’d been having all night helped with getting up because I hardly slept. I decided to go and have a shower, maybe it would calm me down and allow me to chill out a bit.
Getting out of the shower again, I saw that my phone was flashing. I had a few missed calls and a text message from Thomas asking if I needed a lift to school tomorrow. I text back saying no thanks, my mum was taking me and that I’d see him and the others then.
I did end up deciding to wear my jeans and a nice top and got dressed before heading downstairs. I could hear chatter coming from the kitchen, but I certainly wasn’t prepared for what I was about to see…

Chapter Twenty Nine I spent most of the night tossing and turning, I just couldn’t switch off. It was like my mind was so into overdrive, I didn’t know how to process what I saw or how to think rationally about it. When I did manage to get some sleep, I had nightmares. The parking lot was around the back, and while teachers had their own area, a lot of the students drove. Chapter Thirty Two By the time lunchtime rolled around, I was well and truly sick of school. All I had heard all day, even from my friends, was how attractive one of the new teachers was. Sophie also wouldn’t stop asking if I was ok like she knew something was wrong. I knew she meant well, but it was starting to piss me off a little bit.
