Kidnapped

“Mom, have you seen Daddy today?”

“Mom, why is dad not here yet?”

Anamika was going crazy with her kids' troublesome behavior lately. These days, she goes home late from work and leaves home as early as she can, just to avoid them until she is able to sort things out. After all, Emma just quit her job and had been at home with the kids.

As usual, she left her home as early as 5:30 AM. But, unlike before, her car was blocked by another vehicle and masked men, five or so of them, rushed to Anamika’s car and ordered her to get down.

“Get down!”

Nairaland had been a peaceful city, unlike Rivers City, where gang fights occur now and then.

Because thieves and whatnot don’t randomly harass people, Anamika let her guard down and stopped going around with tons of bodyguards.

She stepped out like her driver did with her hands raised. Fighting or arguing with ruffians like these is certainly not a good move for a mother of two.
