The fight with Henry

That evening after leaving Asher’s hotel room with her fire quenched, she called Emma and asked for Henry’s whereabouts. She was told that Henry was at his house, so she went there.

At Henry’s house…

Anamika drove into a white villa situated at the quiet end of a street. She got out of her car and knocked at the door a couple of times.

Henry opened the door for her to get in. When they entered the beautiful sitting room that wasn’t lacking in superior furniture and decor, Henry offered her refreshments and went into his room, leaving her to sit alone.

Anamika couldn’t sit still after five minutes and traced his steps to where he was.

Entering the bedroom, she met him arranging his luggage. She wasn’t expecting it, so she asked.

“Are you going back?”

“Hm,” he replied without looking at her.
