Tyler– The threat

"Oh," Anamika suddenly didn't know how to continue.

"Go straight to the point, I have no time to waste."

Anamika summoned courage and said, "I need a backer. I want to get the Smith family off my case."

"Why?"

"They are extorting me."

"What makes you think I won't do the same?"

Anamika was stunned. This is the most awkward meeting she's ever had.

"I–" she didn't know what to say at this point.

"I don't need money for my service."

Anamika blinked. "Then–"

"Marry me!"

"Huh?"

"You heard me!"

"I'm sorry, that's too expensive."

"Fine, handle the Smiths yourself."

With that said, the call went dead on his end.

Anamika stared speechlessly at her phone and blinked a few times. She wasn't even curious about how he knew he was speaking to her.

She heard that when Ash picks up a call, the caller's phone is tracked. The caller's location and identity would then be displayed in his laptop. That's the reason he didn't ask her about her identity before diving into the topic.
