Angela's Point Of View

The sun hung low on the horizon, casting long shadows across the hospital's entrance as I made my way back from an unexpected detour. My heart raced with a mix of guilt and anticipation, for I knew that the moment I walked through those doors, Danciana, my closest friend and confidant, would have questions – probing questions about where I had been and what I had been doing.

Danciana was waiting for me, perched on a chair just inside the hospital's lobby. Her hazel eyes, usually warm and welcoming, now bore a curious intensity that made me feel like she could see straight through me. She tilted her head to the side, her curly hair cascading over her shoulder as she regarded me with an arched eyebrow.

"Angela," she began, her tone tinged with playful suspicion, "you won't believe how much trouble you're in right now."
