Danciana's Point Of View

I stared out of my cold, cramped cell, my heart heavy with betrayal. How could Beta Liu, my own flesh and blood, have turned against me like this? All I had ever done was look out for him, protect him. And now, because of his actions, I found myself locked up in this wretched place. It felt like a dagger through my heart, the pain of his betrayal slicing through my very soul.

As I wallowed in my thoughts, my gaze was suddenly interrupted by the sight of a guard approaching my cell. Could it be? Could this guard actually be here to set me free?
