077 Witch Way To Compulsion

Getting ready for the battle wasn't easy. Although Philip would be in charge of the settlement, Ellis felt it would be best to move the young and weaker pack members to the bunkers. We needed to be ready and head out by ten in the morning. We planned to get there and attack by noon. Although I believed the mission would be easy, I wanted Ellis to sit this one out, but I didn't know how to tell her without annoying her.

I headed back to the house to talk to my wife. She was sharpening her blade but wasn't dressed yet. I sat next to her in the living room.

" Are they moving them to the bunkers?" She asked me, curious about the pack members, and I nodded.

" You know Philip and Susan are not coming?" I began.

" Good, that way, there will be people here to lead the remaining wolves in the event of an attack." She pointed out, and I figured that was my cue.

" Hey, I was thinking you could do the same," I said, and she gently placed her katana on the table in front of us.
