6. Visiting Caren

I was taken aback at what happened, my eyes widened in surprise, I was not expecting this, I was kissing my stepbrother.

He withdrew from the kiss, he was also as shocked as I was.

“I….” he ran his hand through his hair and suddenly there was a knock on the window of the car.

I was surprised to see Shawn gesturing for me to open the door.

“I called him here,” Kayden said. “Caren wants to meet you” He was not looking at me while talking. It seems Kayden had mind linked Shawn as soon as the incident with June happened.

Why does it feel like he felt bad for kissing me and it seemed he was also pissed.

His reaction was confusing. Although I was mad at him, I did not expect this kind of reaction from him.

I glanced at him before alighting from the car and as soon as I left the car, he drove off.

“Are you okay?” I nodded.

Shawn had that worried look on his face which was replaced with an annoyed look.

“Kayden needs to keep his distance from you”
