Gavin's POV

I watched as her eyes widened, and her mouth fell open. Her lips moved, but no words came out of them.

"A fly might get in there," I pointed out.

Her eyes blinked severally before finally moving in the direction of my voice. "I -I am sorry. I just," she stuttered, making confused hand gestures.

"You thought I was outside?" I helped complete her sentence, raising my eyebrow at her. She nodded in response.

"Let's just say I had a surprise in store for you,"

"And this is it?" She gestured at the entire table, finally finding her voice.

"Good to know that you can still talk," for a while there, I thought you had gone mute.

"Haha, nice joke." She rolled her eyes.

"Are you going to stand there and watch, or are you going to dig in and enjoy the meal before you," I teased, going round the table to pull out a chair for her.

"Right," she expressed, taking her chair directly opposite me, "thank you," she muttered.

"Could you help me take a picture of the meal?" I pleaded, not want
