Chapter Sixty Six

Harlow's Pov

I woke up to the cold sprinkling of water on my face and that prompted me to think I must have slept out in the open under the cold dew.

In the tiny bundle of clothes that I had carried, I knew perfectly well that there was nothing to shield me from the cold.

And that meant that if I didn't die of exhaustion or hunger, I'd definitely die of the cold.

Either way, it ends up in death.

I wondered how sleepy I must have felt to have slept on the floor but nothing came in and worst of all was the fact that whatever it was I was lying on wasn't the cold, Barr and hard floor.

Even if I was feeling water and cold on my face, I couldn't comprehend the feeling that other parts of my body felt warm.

Now what could that be described as?

I tried standing up and only then did I realize that I was covereds by a duvet. That was the reason for the warmth and as for the cold.... Well, the woman in front o e was basically carrying a bowl of water which meant that she had sprinkled it on me.
