Chapter Sixty

Harlow's Pov

When Mirable said those words to me, I felt like she was reprimanding me or something… I did feel bad for everything that has happened and is happening now.

Mirable wasn't wearing a good look on her face and the only thing I could think of currently was to go after Alaric, which I did without haste.

I walked past a few servants who stared at me like I was a ghost or something of that nature, but I couldn't care less and some of them made spiteful words about me.

I started running around the grand pack house searching for Alaric but then, I couldn't find him anywhere close.

I immediately started walking towards his room and at the same time praying I don't go into someone else's room and see a naked man.

Alaric wasn't in his room, and I began panicking.

“Where the hell could he be?” I muttered slowly as tears cascaded down my eyes freely.
