My confusion as to Sebastian's reaction as well as my jumbled up thoughts were instantly halted at the sound of the chilling chuckle that escaped Alpha Asher's lips as he slowly stood to his full height, seeming more than ready to let his own wolf out.
A slaughter was seemingly imminent judging from the volatile energy in the air and, for the life of me, I had no idea who would win in this battle. Alpha Asher may be a full fledged Alpha with years of experience behind him but Sebastian was a strong and powerful werewolf.
I knew well enough what he was capable of when he was angry and now, as enraged as he was, never backing down from the glare that Alpha Asher was giving him, he would certainly not hold back in a fight.
