Lucian’s POV

"Where are the prisoners?" I inquired, my voice holding a tone of authority as I approached Owen, who was overseeing the training of our new warriors. In times of uncertainty, the training of our forces became even more critical.

Owen pointed in the direction of Silas, who was engaged in an intense practice session. Silas had proven to be a dedicated and skilled warrior, and his insight on matters like this was invaluable. I walked over to him, his training blade glinting in the sunlight as he executed precise strikes.

"Silas," I called out, my voice carrying an air of urgency.

He turned toward me, his expression focused but respectful. "Alpha Lucian," he acknowledged.

"Where are the prisoners?" I asked directly, my concern evident.

Silas wiped the sweat from his brow with the back of his hand. "Cell thirteen," he responded promptly, his gaze meeting mine.

I nodded in gratitude before motioning for him to accompany me. "Walk with me to the dungeon."
