Wake up From The Dream

“Books? Oh, come on, that's so boring! Such an old person's hobby.” Liz retorted sharply, shaking her head.

“Listen!” Esli commanded that she be quiet.

Ruby, who had been struggling to speak, silently thanked him. She didn't need any interruptions that would make her regret it. Returning Ed to Liz was already difficult enough; seeing Liz belittle Ed made her feel even worse.

But Ruby kept reminding herself that there was another life she had to consider.

“Ed also loves coffee, but he said he’s trying to like tea more.”
