Chapter 50: Jealousy

Letting go of an enemy was a hard thing for Samuel, as he had already planned everything to bring destruction to his wife’s ex-fiance. However, it’s her wish, so he granted it. The business contract signing would take place tomorrow at 8 a.m. Then he could go home.

He missed Amy badly. It was a wonder he only spent two days away from her, but he couldn’t wait to see and meet with his wife again. When he was about to sleep, Samuel thought about the whole thing. Amy confessed to him she didn’t love Jacob, but who could know the truth? He sighed, as jealousy was a new thing for him. He had never felt jealous of any women before.

The morning finally came. Samuel prepared himself to meet with his new business colleague. He read a text message from Amy.

‘Good morning, my husband. Have a safe trip. I can’t wait to meet you soon!’ Amy left a heart-shaped emoticon and a kiss in her text.

He grinned to see that and promised himself to spoil Amy when he went home today. After being ready,
