Sitting at his desk looking over documentation was Ethan with a brazen look covering his face. Glaring at the paperwork in his hand he threw them on the table in a fit of rage. Getting up from his seat he walked towards a small round, glass table where he had his bottle of whiskey. While pouring himself a glass a knock came on the door.

"Come in"

He invited without looking up from his glass. the door opened revealing Alec who held numerous papers in his hand.

"Sir, I've brought the papers you asked for earlier."

"Ah, put them on my desk"

Complying with his demands Alec looked to his boss and watched him easily down the entire glass in one go. His face morphed into one of concern but he understood the frustrations his employer was going through and resolved to keep his tongue.

Sensing something was off with Alec, Ethan sighed placing the glass back on the table.
