XCV

Walking through the familiar large door Robin looked back at the man helping her up the stairs. His expression was somewhat solemn and dare she assume sad. She had no idea just what went on during the past three months of her hospitalisation for him to have a drastic change.

Though he had always shown kindness towards her, these days it seemed that he was being extra cautious and caring. Like the time he peeled her orange for her, or when he was constantly asking if she needed anything during their ride home. They were little things and yet they seemed so sweet. What took the cake was when he brought her a bouquet of her favourite flowers, daisies.

Out of all the gifts she had received while at the hospital, his was the best of them all. Recalling the gesture she smiled to herself. As they made their way to the bedroom, Robin turned to the left side where her room was.

"Where are you going?"

Ethan asked with a scowl. She looked up at him in confusion before answering with the most
