It was a day to prom and Miranda had been compelled to stay over at Jose's by her two best friends. Though she found it unnecessary as she could always go to prom from the orphanage. Either way, they won as she simply had to relent.

It was 9pm in the night, yet I was unable to fall asleep which was weird. My mind was hyperactive as so many thoughts, emotions and my memories played in my thoughts.

While some memories were fun, others weren't.

I thought about the good old days when my parents were still alive, it was then I realized how much I missed them and their princessly treatments of me.
