I was in my room making final preparations for prom the next day.

When I was done, I laid in bed and did some meditations as I usually do before heading to bed. I was on Psalm 27 when all of a sudden, I felt the sudden urge to go and check up on Miranda.

At first, I was hesitant not wanting to leave my meditation halfway. But I began to feel this loss of peace and focus, in the end I had no choice but to go. I didn't feel the need to change out of my pajamas, I simply wore my slippers and went out of my room.

As Nanny was still out of town, Miranda and I were the only ones left in the house, the realization of this made me alarmed. “ What could possibly be going on with her? ” With this thought in mind, I quickened my steps and soon I was in front of her room.
