Chapter 29- I love him too.

I pull the phone from my ears after hanging up with him. My heart was in shreds because of how hurt and desperate he sounded. He’s probably thinking I’m running from dealing with him and Gianna, and perhaps if this complication hadn’t shown up, I might have. But he’s here, I can’t believe it, but every time I look to my left, he’s sitting beside me.
Cole is the one person I never wanted to see again more than even Colin. I feel a storm of emotions raging through me. I shouldn’t have gotten in the car. I should have to him to get him. I should have run away, but I couldn’t.
“Where are you taking me?”My words break the silence in the car. He glances over with that smile that used to bring me so much warmth in that cold house.
“You’ll see, we’re almost there.”
“You’ve been saying that for the past twenty minutes.”

I awake to the smell of smoke. I jump up from the bed. I have to save mom and dad. I run down the hallway, but the entrance to their wing is already in flames. “Mom! Dad! Mom! Dad! Don’t leave me!
