Ch45: Homecoming ceremony

I looked at Dave in shock. Why would he hate that? Dan was not just any other man. Was something wrong with him?

I held his hand and pushed him away. “I am tired brother,” I said. “I want to go home…” I did not think I wanted to discuss this with him.

Dave creased his brows. “ Mia… there is actually something that I want to tell you…” he began speaking. His expression was so serious that it made me alarmed.
