BAB 103 I His Complicated Personalities

Mia refused to go out or even take a walk after the snake incident near the lake. She didn’t want to meet that thing anytime soon.

Mia was traumatized by the incident at the Red Cage Compound, so Jaxon decided to bring her back to Denver.

While she was busy stuffing clothes into her bag, she asked, “Are you sure we’re going home right now?”

Jaxon nodded and grabbed her hand, then told her to leave everything because someone would clean it up.

“Staying here doesn’t make you happy either, so we should go back to the city,” Jaxon said, pulling Mia away from the closet.

“What about these outfits? I’ve only worn them once,” Mia said, looking at the silk pajamas she wore hanging there.

“One of the staff will collect it and donate it to goodwill,” Jaxon explained, which Mia found difficult to accept.

Almost all of her clothes end up in the warehouse of the country’s largest used goods donation organization. Even though Mia can still wear it, she doesn’t have to buy new clothes every time J
