BAB 109 I In Hospital, Again

Jaxon’s gaze looked far in front of the room window where Mia was currently lying. Often, he glanced over his shoulder at the girl sleeping on the bed with the IV in her hand.

Swelling on her face and red bumps on her skin seem to have subsided.

Jaxon sighed and returned to Mia side. He stroked her face, which was puffy from crying for too long. At the very least, Mia is no longer bothered by itching and heat that spreads throughout her body.

“I didn’t know she was allergic to certain types of flowers,” said Jaxon when he heard the sound of the bedroom door opening without taking his eyes off the girl lying in front of him. “If I had known, I wouldn’t have let those flowers adorn Aurelia.”

“It’s not your fault,” Rey replied as he approached the foot of the bed. “At least she’s not allergic to roses.”

Jaxon snorted and brought Mia’s hand to his lips.
