Chapter 46 –  Another Date Same Date

(Lexi’s POV)

“Hi, Jolene,” I heard Finn’s voice when Jolene opened the door for him. “Where’s Lexa?”

A déjà vu! I was again peering at the ajar door, only this time, I wasn’t peeking for my date but at Lexa’s date, and I couldn’t see much when they were still standing in the doorway.

“Lexa’s head is aching, and she’s now in bed. Lexi will be out any minute,” she said. My eyes widened when I heard Jolene mixing me with Lexa.

“Lexa’s in bed? She just sent me a message a while ago.”

“Yeah, right. I mean, Lexi’s head is aching, and she’s now in bed. Lexa will be out any minute,” she repeated, reciting for an A+ grade.

“Ah,” he muttered.

“Please, have a seat. Lexi… I mean, Lexa,” she groaned. “Argh! Sorry, I didn’t know why their parent named their children confusing names,” she chuckled. “Just please wait for Lexa.”

“I know what you mean,” Finn laughed with her.
