Chapter 31- Hospital 2
Amira's POV
"He's still critical, that's what the doctor had said. There's no assurance for his life but I know he'll fight for us, he'll fight for his life." I fretted.
Seeing him unconscious in bed, the tubes, the dextrose, it was a rack and I know this is much painful for Mom and my brother.
" You haven't take a rest since you came. I know your tired, please take a rest. Your Dad wouldn't love to see you stressed." I heard mom uttered behind me. I feel her hands running through my arms as I felt her warm embrace from the back.
I smiled in a downcast. I nodded and worked my feet to the room. I saw Patty, Krisha, Zack, and Zeke sitting on a couch, worried.
I feel bad for ruining their supposed to be a happy Christmas celebration. I come to them and sat beside Zack. They were looking at me with their eyes, asking me if I am okay.
