Chapter 32- He stayed

Krisha's POV

After Zeke and I talked, he left to go back to Amira. He invited me to come along with him but I refused.  I feel the wind touching my skin and taking my hair with it. I can smell the air of hospital and the smoke from the vehicles.

I took a deep sigh and it's the only way for me to ease the heavy feeling I have.

I spend some minutes before I went back inside. There was only Zack sleeping in the patient's bed while resting her leg up on its edge. Tsk! Feel at home.

I sat in the couch and rested my neck to its board. I stretched my hands to the paper bags and hoping for something to eat. I cupped a soft round thing and if I am not mistaken, it's a bun. I quickly grab and eat it.

I hope love is easy like grabbing a bun from the paper bag.

The door went open and Amira stoop inside. She looked at me and went beside me.

"How's uncle?" I asked
