HOME.

“Now, follow me; it’s time to meet up with the clan elders; they all want to see you crowned as the princess of the realm.” I sighed and followed her to the clan.

They want to see me. For what? To touch their feet or what? I can’t even use my powers. Why do they want to see someone like me and crown me as the princess of the realm?

It’s not like I wasn’t a princess of the realm; it’s more like they want me to be crowned for recognition, so all the people know I’m the princess of the realm blah, blah and blah.

And also use this opportunity to carry on my duties and come across my mate.

Blah. Blah. Blah.

That’s all they want to see me for—wrinkly old council elders, all sitting down with young muscular Alphas discussing a few things among themselves and blocking the path to the mating ceremony.

“Oh, ah… Alpha, go harder,’ whoever it is, was screaming like a pig. How annoying.

As if the elders knew what was going on, they shut the gigantic white designer’s gate to block out the noise.

Good riddance.

I can’t bear to hear such noises, and I hope I don’t become like that disgusting person who screams in the room one day.

The moon goddess be damned, I will faint.

I went over to my mom and sat down in my seat close to her, yawning and feeling bored about the whole scenario.

If I were just on my phone, this would have been much better for me.

I hate this meeting; I wonder what they were discussing.

“Hey, sis,’ Alex said, coming to me and sitting down beside me with a grin on his face.

He needed something from me; I knew it. Whenever he needed my help, that’s how he always behaved.

Alex is a seven-year-old boy who has full silver-white hair and blue eyes.

He was a short boy with pink lips and bright features, and he had the same similarities as my father. He is lively and optimistic, but he loves to be rough and is quite messy.

Today he acts cute. The next day, he is a stubborn brat.

He is my little brother and an Alpha.

The one thing our family has in common is our blue eyes. According to what I found out, it’s the source of our power, I think. But my eyes is different because I haven't shapeshifted yet.

“What is it, Alex? Don’t bug me.” I knew where this was going.

“I want to use your phone for just five minutes to check the latest game that just came out; Ace wants me to check the version.”

Ace was his best friend and partner in crime.

“You have a phone; why don’t you use yours?”

“Please, Mom wouldn’t let me use the Wi-Fi; she switched it off.” He whined.

“That’s because you use more than what Mom can afford,’ I laughed. “I’m not giving it to you; serve you right.”

“That’s not fair, sis.”

“It is fair,’ I argued.

“If you don’t give it to me, I’m going to tell Mom that you were reading those mangas again.” He nearly yelled, and I soon covered his mouth with my hands and fiercely whispered. “Keep quiet; Mom will hear from you. I’m not reading any manga.” I denied.

He pulled my hands off his mouth.

“Then, please let me take it; I wouldn’t stay long.”

“Go ahead,’ I finally gave up, and then something struck me: I realised I didn’t clearly swipe off the episode of the sex scene BL manga on my phone.

Crap!

I quickly got up from my seat. I saw my brother walking towards me, and excitement filled all my body. Forgetting why I got up in the first place, I went over to hug him.

“GERARD.’ I squealed with excitement.

“Hey, little kitty, how are you?” He laughed and kissed me on the neck as he hugged me and carried me up in his arms.

“I’m fine. Welcome home, big brother. I miss you so much,’ I said cheerfully, feeling his warmth on my chest as he dropped me down on my feet. Yet, I hugged him. I didn't want him to leave. I fear if I let go of him, I wouldn't see him again.

“Hey, stop hugging me so tightly, you will push me down. Everyone is watching.”

He was taller than me, though; how could I drag him down?

“I’m good. Where have you been? I haven’t seen you for a long time, Gérard, you didn't even care to call me.'

"But, I often call you Princess.'

"You could do it every day, it's not enough.' I argued.

"I've been so busy, Oceana, that's why I don't call every day'

"It's your work much more important than my wellbeing?' I fumed with annoyance.

He chuckled. "No, love, I just got carried away with my busy schedule. I got through it and came to see you.'

"Really?' I questioned with my brows raised.

“Yeah. Do you miss me?” he laughed.

“Of course, I miss you so much; I love you.” I kissed him on the cheek the instant he bent down again and hugged me.

“I miss you too, and I love you more, baby,” he murmured, leaning close to my ear.

“Why did you leave? Before I could wake up, Mom and Dad said, ‘You were both gone.’ I explained.

“Sorry, we left without telling you. I didn’t want to bother you.’

“Liar,” I slapped him across the shoulder as he cackled. “You could have woken me up; I could have bid you goodbye and your wolf, too.’ I remarked.

“I didn’t want to see a crybaby who wouldn’t let me off the hook; that’s why I didn’t wake you up.’ He teased me.

I hit him on the shoulder again. “You are such a big meanie, brother.’

He came close to my ear again and whispered. “What if I make it up to you? Would that make me not be a big meanie?’

I pouted. “Yes, make it up to me.’

“So what do you want from me, sweetie?”

“Apologise to me.’ I smiled widely.

“Ok, ma'am. I am so sorry, little sister.’

I puffed up. “It’s not that easy to please me,” I feigned.

He chuckled.

“What can I do to make it up to you now, Oceana?’ he giggled.

“Stay at home with me. I will make it up to you to apologise to me one more time and forgive you as well.’
