Catherine's POV:

Before she could start speaking, my phone rings.

I brought it out from my purse and stared at the name.

Talia.

She must have gone to Alex's house and couldn't find me there.

"Hello?" I asked calmly.

"Hello? What the fuck is going on in your head, Catherine? Vivian said you left the house. Why? I don't understand, it is your birthday, Catherine." She shouted, her voice rising through each words.

I sighed softly and closed my eyes.

Of course I know that today is my birthday more than anybody else.

"Of course I know that. Listen Talia, I left the house because Vivian and her husband were just waiting for the right time to strike. I don't know much about everything right now but I'll let you know more as soon as I find out. As of now, I'm safe." I told her.

I could hear her take in a deep breath before she spoke again. "Are you sure you're okay?"

"Yes, don't worry. I'll text you my location tomorrow when everywhere is calm." I told her sweetly. I am very gratef
