Burnt Flesh

Jeremy pov:

The smell of burnt flesh lingered in the air, making it difficult to breathe. The room was dimly lit, casting eerie shadows on the walls.

The charred body lay on the metal table, unrecognizable and haunting. Steve's mother collapsed to the ground, her sobs echoing through the room.

David finally found his voice, his words coming out in a shaky whisper. "This can't be Steve. It just can't be."

But deep down, he knew it was true. The reality of their son's death hit them all like a ton of bricks.

As the mortuary staff tried to console the grieving family, Steve remained stoic. His eyes were fixed on the body, his mind racing with thoughts. The weight of the loss was heavy on his shoulders, but he knew he had to stay strong for his family.

Emotions were running high in the room as Emelia's voice echoed through the walls.
