I was glad and overjoyous when I found out that Junia was okay, most importantly when I deciphered that Nicholas came out of her house with no harm laid against her.

However, I couldn't help but be filled with a surge of jealousy, and no matter how much I tried, I couldn't get rid of the question that lingered in my mind.

“Why did Nicholas visit Junia? What could they have talked about? Why would Nicholas meet with Junia right after my car was blown up”

I heaved a sigh, leaning in the chair before leaning forward with my forearm on the table. “There is something that is not only odd about Nicholas but it is also fishy at the same time….”
