Tonight was the night to get laid. I was in the bathroom shaving my legs and pampering myself, getting ready for my first date with Mike. We have been calling each other and texting every day, some times ill go watch his shows some nights. This is the first time he is taking me out though, so I'm a little nervous.Once I was done shaving, brushing my teeth, doing my hair. I sprayed my neck, chest, and wrists with bombshell perfume from Victoria Secret. I then grabbed my black halter dress that comes up to my knees. I smiled at myself when I looked at my reflection in my full body mirror. I wore black eyeliner, mascara, with light pink almost nude eye shadow. I looked beautiful. I was putting my silver heels on when I received a text message. Thinking it was from mike, I opened the message. My face instantly falling to see that it wasn't from Mike. Ash: I miss youI read it and then closed out of the message with no response. Yes I was still mad at my brother for what he did. He can
It's been three weeks since I woke up to an empty bed after that night Mason snuck into my room. Three weeks since he told me he loved me after making love to me. Three weeks since I last been in his arms. Three weeks of crying non stop, three weeks of being angry at him and cussing at the air at the tops of my lungs. On this day, I finally became numb & on this day, is my older brothers wedding. We are still not on speaking terms. He has tried everyday to talk to me, texting and calling me but I don't respond or answer his calls. As for Mike, we haven't spoken much since our date but thankfully he agreed to accompany me to my brothers wedding. There's no way I could face Mason and what ever date he brought with him tonight. I sat in front of my mirror looking myself over one last time. I wore a baby blue knee length altar dress with clear glass heels with diamonds running on the side of them. My hair was pinned up in a neat bun. I looked like a princess, but I didn't feel like one.
I made it to the airport just in time to board my flight. A part of me hoped Mason would be here trying to fight for the love I thought we had. But was deeply disappointed when I walked through the airport, through TSA, and to the gate, my plane was and didn’t see him anywhere. Tears threatened to fall from my eyes but I pushed them back and vowed to never cry over Mason again. Once I arrived back in Florida it’ll be a new chapter in my life with no Mason. With that thought, I gave my ticket to the lady to scan and I walked onto my plane. My seat was 8F which was towards the back and thankfully the window seat. Ever since I flew on a plane for the first time at eighteen years old I’ve always loved flying and always bought the window seat. I hate the middle seat and the aisle seat. I made my way to my seat, lugged my luggage into the top cabin, and took my seat at the window. The window blinds were closed shut and I didn’t mind that for now. I didn’t want to look at Rhode Island any
I was sitting at my desk in my medium-sized office, looking and feeling like a boss. I was in my very first office ever. I looked calm and collected but inside I was smiling from ear to ear. I am so glad I had the balls to up and quit my old job and apply for this one. It was the best decision I have ever made. Last we left off I got hired at Star Magazine, went to the clinic, and went home. This morning I got up super early to get ready to go to my old job, to collect my things. When I arrived, everyone was staring at me and my old boss kept giving me the evil eye. I ignored her though and didn’t even spare her a single eye glance. I just grabbed a box and walked to my secretary's desk and started packing the box full of office supplies that I bought. The new secretary stopped typing on the keyboard to give me an annoying glare.“This is all the stuff that I bought, so you can look at me with that annoying glare all you want. You should have brought your own pens, note pads, and sti
Alethea, where are my prints!" I sighed as I hovered over the printer and copy machine. I haven't been here for more than a minute and she is already yelling for her damn prints. She is the most obnoxious person I have ever met, but nobody would ever dare tell her that. Everybody around here kissed her ass, because it was better than to piss her off. I'm sad to say that I am one of the few who kisses her ass. Oh, I'm sorry, how very rude of me. My name is Alethea. I have long black hair with light brown highlights that goes down to the middle of my back. I have green and brown hazel eyes, I am mixed with black and white; so my skin complexion is tan. Most people often mistake me to be Puerto Rican. I am also four foot eleven. I currently work in designing clothes, but my real passion in life is writing books. Although I never succeeded in creating a book. Every time I tried to start one, my mind just goes blink, so for right now I have given up. I chose to design clothes instead. I
Four hours later I finally made it to Rhode Island. I was bouncing from joy, not literally of course. I took my luggage down and dragged it behind me as I walked off the plane. I entered Rhode Island airport and I followed the arrows that would lead me outside. I was so excited; I would finally see my older brother. My brother and I are very close. Always have been since we were kids. He was always there when I needed him, but he also bullied me while growing up; but he wouldn't be a big brother if he didn't do that. My brother was thirty years old now, so I am five years younger than he is. I walked outside and pulled out my cellphone. I turned my phone on dialed my brother's number. The phone rung three times before it went to voicemail. I tried to call him again, when I heard a very sexy masculine voice from beside me."Hey Lee Lee, long time no see." I quickly hung the phone up as it went to voicemail again. There was only one guy who called me by that name. The name I hated the
I woke up the next morning to Mason knocking on the bedroom door. I sat up so fast and tried to fix my hair, before I answered the door. I don't know why I even bothered to try to look a little decent. It's not like I have a chance with the guy. He probably still sees me as a twelve-year-old. I answered the door when I thought I looked a little better. I looked up at Mason to see him smirking at me."Why are you smiling?" I asked confused. I looked down at myself to see if there was something out of place; but everything looked normal. I turned around to go look at myself through the mirror by his dresser, and I almost had a heart attack. Even though I tried to fix my hair, it didn't work. My curls never want to listen to me. my hair was all over the place. Damn I probably blew my chance with him now. Don't flatter yourself, you never had a chance with him. My inner self said. I rolled my eyes and turned around to go to my luggage. I pulled out a rubber band and put my hair up in a bu
The next night I was getting ready to go out to the club with my best friends CeCe who was Caucasian with long black hair and brown eyes; and Alexa who light skin, had short brown hair, with brown eyes. Both girls were thick all in the right places. CeCe was the friend that always wants to go partying, get drunk, and meet guys; but she never ever has sex with them on the first night. She likes to have fun, to forget all of her problems, but once she is feeling a guy she gives her all to that guy. Alexa is the funny and fun type. Whenever I am around Lexi she always has me dying of laughter. No matter where we go I am always having fun with her. So tonight is going to be so much fun and I am so excited to see the two of them. As I was finishing getting ready, I heard a honk outside of my brother's house. I looked at myself in the mirror one last time. I had on a black dress that showed all of my curves. I had a semi big boobs, slim waist with abs, and thick thighs, calves, and but
