“So, it was you who pushed me down the stairs?” Crystal asked staring at Laurie intently, her blue eyes narrowed on Laurie who blinked back green eyes with feigned ignorance. You attempted to drown me at the resort, stole the diamonds, and sabotaged my designs, correct??”

“That is correct, and I feel bad I am just telling you all this now.” Laurie smiled as she tapped the tears from her eyes using her handkerchief, and then her voice rang out maliciously. “I hope the fairy Rae listens to my request and kills you for real this time.”

“So, your wish was for my death, right?” Crystal breathed out. She stared at Laurie with sadness looming in her eyes. “Why would you do something like that?”

“It is because you are so annoying.” Laurie snapped. You've only just started working at the company, but everyone already likes you. You're always with Mr. Smith, which is frustrating because he doesn't even like you. Why did he make you his wife? What makes you so special??”
