Guilt

Azriel pulled the car into the driveway and looked over at Sienna with concern. Sienna was looking at the mansion with glossy eyes. Today was her parents' death anniversary and she had come to visit their grave. The abandoned mansion still stood proud and tall. The time had caused its beauty to fade but it still was as beautiful as before for Sienna. Her dad had built this mansion for her mother.

"Are you okay?" Azriel held her hand and asked her. Sienna turned to him and nodded. This was the first time Azriel was accompanying Sienna to her childhood home. Earlier, Sienna used to visit this place alone or sometimes with uncle Jarek. It was almost twenty years and she still couldn't give justice to her parents. Their killer was still roaming the streets, scot-free. She had proved to be a horrible daughter. The thought pierced through her heart.
