Love Is Not An Easy Game

Sienna was biting her nails while pacing the length of her room. The sun was about to set but he hadn't returned yet. Sean had come back along with other warriors but Azriel was still missing. When she asked about his whereabouts, Sean told her he had gone to check the woods. He wanted to make sure all the threats were removed before returning.

She paused when the door to her room pushed open. Azriel stepped in, looking exhausted. Sienna rushed to him and studied him with worried eyes. There were several cuts and bruises on his face and arms.

"Sit. let me first aid you," she told him before rushing towards the nightstand.

"No need. They will go on their own," he replied flatly and went straight into the bathroom. Sienna stared after him in confusion. He seemed distant and withdrawn.

Sienna had brought a tray of food while he was showering. She was sitting on a chair waiting for him. When he came out, she glanced up and her face lit up with a smile. He had such an effect on her.
