‘Stan…you, do you need something?’ she stuttered and tried pretending that nothing happened.

‘Do you have anything to say?’ Stanley asked instead but she shook her head still maintaining her smile.

‘I was about to go out for lunch since there is no food, I came to call you…but I lost my appetite’ Stanley said before leaving.

Jennet followed him to the sitting room but it was already late as he picked up his car keys and left.

‘Stan’ she called out but he didn’t stop the car. She pulled her head angrily, Stanley was getting on her nerves.

‘Why do I keep up with him?’ She was so frustrated and sat on the couch when she had a flashback of when he asked her out.

Jennet was a runway model and didn’t gain enough from it, so one morning she received a call from Stanley…he said his uncle needed a face for his new product and he suggested her.

That act of his made her so emotional…she comes from a poor background and no one has ever helped her this much.

After signing the contract with her
